Victorian Internal Medicine Group (VIMG)
The Victorian Internal Medicine Group, in partnership with IMSANZ, facilitates a
fortnightly online education series hosted by General & Acute Care Medicine trainees
and consultant physicians across Victoria. Open to anyone with an interest in General Medicine.
Join once for the year and drop in to any session that suits your schedule. Sessions are designed to
support trainees and physicians with practical, case-based learning.

About the VIMG education series
VIMG is a trainee-led and consultant-supported series focusing on real-world General & Acute Care Medicine.
Sessions are interactive, case-based and mapped to the curriculum.

How it works

• Guest speakers and panel discussions
• Sessions aligned with the G&ACM curriculum
Supervision: Each presenting Advanced Trainee is introduced and supported by a supervising consultant.
Time: Fortnightly Tuesdays, 1–2pm AEDT
Our first session is on Tuesday 17 March 2026 at 1pm AEDT
(12pm AEST / 12:30pm ACDT / 9am AWST / 3pm NZDT).
Location: Zoom — you MUST
register to attend.
Registration is only required once. Once registered, you may attend any session in the 2026 series.
Suggested format: One case presentation followed by a medical update or panel discussion,
aligned to the General & Acute Care Medicine curriculum.
