The formation of this group reflects strong member support for expanding IMSANZ’s educational focus, as identified in the April 2025 member survey. Approved by the Board in July 2025, the Education SIG will help shape and coordinate educational initiatives that strengthen learning, mentorship, and professional development across Australia and New Zealand.

The group will focus on areas such as:

• Developing and promoting educational resources and CPD opportunities
• Supporting trainee education and mentoring
• Exploring innovative cross-Tasman learning initiatives
• Advancing IMSANZ’s Educate, Advocate, Advance objectives
• Membership is open to all IMSANZ members with an interest in medical education and continuous professional development.
